June O’Donoghue provides tax and financial services to a wide range of clients, including small business owners and partners, farmers, corporate executives, retired individuals, widows, trustees and attorneys representing estate interests. June specializes in finding customized solutions to meet a client’s individual and family financial goals.

Her twenty five years of experience provides her with the knowledge to work efficiently with other advisors involved with a client’s financial planning. She helps clients with estate planning by explaining the tax efficient opportunities available and works with attorneys and accountants to anticipate trust funding, potential asset disposition, tax compliance and cash flow issues unique to each client.

Prior to joining Whitnell & Co, Ms. O’Donoghue was an attorney in private practice in taxation and estate planning. Ms. O’Donoghue developed and implemented financial planning tools used by corporate executives to make tax-efficient decisions in the exercise of their stock options. Prior to her own practice, Ms. O’Donoghue worked for more than ten years in the tax department of public accounting firms Arthur Andersen and, most recently, Price Waterhouse where she held the position of Senior Manager.

Ms. O’Donoghue is an active member of Misericordia Women’s Board, Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) and Women of Vision. She has led successful fund-raising events and campaigns for Loyola Academy, Misericordia, Mozart Sinfonia and other charitable organizations and community groups. She received a BS in Mathematics and German Language from WIU and a JD from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.
