Mia Erickson has over twenty years experience in the financial services industry, specializing in financial planning for corporate executives and business owners. She counsels clients in all areas of financial planning with an expertise in retirement, estate, business succession, charitable, and compensation planning. The passion Mia has in providing the best solutions and service for her clients is a top priority.

Before joining Whitnell, Ms. Erickson was a Vice President at Suburban Bank & Trust, and spent seven years at Harris Bank as a Senior Financial Planner and Team Manager. Ms. Erickson also worked at Firstar Investments providing financial planning and investment services to her clientele.

Ms. Erickson currently serves as Trustee on the Northwest Community Hospital Foundation Board and on the Hospital’s Planned Gift Committee. In addition, she has served as a Board of Director for the Giving Trust and Wellness Place. Ms. Erickson has been actively involved in the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and has served as the Director of Membership for the Chicago Loop Council, Director of Career Development for FPA Illinois, Chairman of the FPA Chicago Internship Program for FPA Illinois, and a mentor for the FPA Residency Program.

Ms. Erickson received her B.S. degree in financial planning and counseling from Purdue University. She received her MBA degree in finance from Keller Graduate School of Management. She also holds the CFP® designation.
